Iran Cracking?

Iran Cracking?

by Michael Bond on December 31, 2017
I've been sharing for years about the hard, but hopeful situation in Iran. Years of religious oppression under the Ayatollahs, economic hardships, and a population where over 50% are under 20 years old has caused discontent to be brewing for a long time. Iranians are looking for answers. And the Body of Christ has been growing there. For instance, Iran has the fastest growing Evangelical Church in the world. Outreaches to Iran are popular. We have four websites and two Internet radio stations reaching out there.
Now, in the last four days, vast protests have broken out in every major city in Iran. The protests seem to be directed toward the government ingeneral and the country's Muslim religious leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in particular. Complaints vary from economic to religious oppression to corruption claims to womens' rights.
Iranians are looking for answers. The answer is Jesus. It's a time when the Church needs to double down our efforts to bring Christ to Iran before competing idealogies catch their attention. They need the Prince of Peace in this unstttled time. If Iran is cracking, let's send Christ into the cracks. Please help us. Thank you.
