Darin became a Christian in 1990. His "walk" was troubled and inconsistant through late 2000. The Lord called him into service along Interstate 43 in Southern Wisconsin in the summer of 2001. Darin says, "His work started in me through the loss of my brother and nearly losing my wife and son." He left his Executive position with the Maytag Corporation to follow God's will. Darin is now the owner of Maytag Stores with three locations in the Washington area. Though Darin feels that God's will for his life is not completely revealed, the journey has led him to the development of a business and culture dedicated to His kingdom and the inredible responsibility of leading an organization as a fallible man that has publically put the company in God's hands. Darin and his wife Jennifer have three children. Darin became a member of the GRO board in the Spring of 2005.
