Bill Goss was born in Wenatchee, Washington, raised on a fishing camp and ranch in the interior of British Columbia, then moved permanently to Washington in 1969. Bill came to the Lord in 1970 while attending University of Puget Sound.
He obtained a BA in Theology in 1973, then worked in accounting for United Parcel Service and Miller Electric in Seattle. In 1984 he received a BA in Business and Information Systems from the University of Washington. He worked for a consulting company in Seattle as project manager modifying and installing software accounting systems on minicomputers, then moved on to mainframe computing at The Boeing Company. In 1998 he opened his own office in Burien, Washington. Currently incorporated as Active Solutions Northwest, Inc., which provides web-hosting, web, database, and desktop custom programming and related support services.
Bill met his wife, Robin, while involved in an intercessory prayer meetings for Muslims and Iron Curtian countries. They were married shortly thereafter, in 1977. They have two grown children. They support missionaries in Turkey, Belgium, and Japan, with intercession, finances and in some cases technical help. They are also reaching out to international students and to Somali Muslims in Seattle.
Bill and Robin attend The Evergreen Church, a Foursquare church in Burien, where Robin teaches Sunday School and Bill leads prayer meetings and helps with an international-student Bible Study. Bill became a GRO board member in 2005.
